Blackspire Keep

A brooding fortress perched on mountainous cliffs. Its flag never flies; the lord is said to collect sea glass and voices in jars. They say the lord has never been seen outside his fortress as but you feel his presence watching over you.

  • Hook: The keep's signal lantern mysteriously goes dark.
  • Hook: Fishermen bring up treasure that speaks when opened.
  • Hook: The lord can be an odd ally or an obstacle.
Moonfen Village

Moonfen Village

An odd quaint village where the moon doubles in some nights. Villagers trade with dreamcatchers and moon like rocks. Everyone is friendly as long as you know how approperiate is to talk about the moon at certain times of the day. The village surrounds a large lake in the center. They say when the moon doubles the whole town starts glowing with a supernatural presenece.

  • Hook: A dream-teller has vanished; their dreams now bleed into waking life.
  • Hook: An ancient peat-burial is unearthed with a sealed pact.
  • Hook: Everyone in the village is either obsessed with the moon or afraid of it no where in between.
Serpent's Hollow

Serpent's Hollow Ruins

Broken columns and half-buried serpentine reliefs mark a once-grand temple. Some glyphs glow when mist rolls by. Lies in the center a compelling relic that can easily be taken. No traps, no tricks, just a simple relic thats too tempting to not take.

  • Hook: A relic compels curious villagers to steal it at night.
  • Hook: Each time the relic is moved, they forget their indentity for the day and the relic somehow returns to its original spot everynight.
  • Hook: The nearby villagers and passerbys seem to be okay with this phenomenon.

A coastline where the air is always still and the surf hums like a choir. There is a lighthouse overlooking the coastline but it seems to be vacant. No lights turned on but you hear the bell ring every night like someone is in there.

  • Hook: The animals are abundant and lively at night but during the day they are all missing.
  • Hook: A washed-up chest contains a map that points to sunken treasure.
  • Hook: A glowing conch shell washes up the shore that ehcos the names of lost loved ones.

Oaks warped into iron-hard wood stand like sentinels. Old nomads whisper of titan-bones below the roots. The central oak is said to be indestructable, unable to be chipped or chopped down. It overlooks a large plain with hard ironwood trees.

  • Hook: Logs from the grove hum with the names of fallen heroes.
  • Hook: A rare herb blooms only where the ground remembers a battle.
  • Hook: A lumberjack claims to be able to cut the wood to make a powerful weapon.

A marbled square filled with enchanted panes that show what a buyer truly needs. Merchants trade both goods and small favors. In the center lies a lively tavern where everyone seems to go to for adventures to hire. The plaza is kept tidy, any mess made it immediately cleaned up by on duty cleaners posted at every corner.

  • Hook: A vendor offers a map that shifts to reflect the reader's regrets.
  • Hook: Mirrors steal reflections of those who lie within the plaza.
  • Hook: Everyone seems too nice.

An abandoned mine with ember-lilies glowing along the shafts. Dug out by Dwarves hundreds of years ago. Tucked within a ravine it hasn't been disturbed for quite sometime.

  • Hook: A traditional Dwarven song helps keep the dwarves to stay working for long periods of time.
  • Hook: A fellow Dwarf helps you navigate through the mines.
Frostmere Expanse

An endless stretch of wind-scoured snowfields where the sky hangs low and pale, Frostmere Expanse is broken only by half-buried ruins and jagged ice spires. The snow here is unnaturally quiet, swallowing sound, and travelers often feel as though something vast is watching from beneath the drifts.

  • Hook: Temperatures drop below freezing on some nights.
  • Hook: Igloos are proupt up everywhere and can be used for those who needed a place of shelter for the night.
  • Hook: Wandering nomads help those who are lost in this land.
